Daily Itinerary
Day 1: Cusco – Abra Málaga – Santa María (Biking & Optional Rafting)

- Pick-up from your hotel in Cusco at approximately 6:00 AM.
- Drive to Ollantaytambo, stop for breakfast
- Keep driving to Abra Malaga, start the mountain biking
Afternoon:
- Lunch in Santa Maria
- Have fun in the whitewater rafting in Santa Maria
Evening:
- Enjoy the local typical dinner.
- Spend the night at our lodge.
Day 2: Santa María – Santa Teresa (Trekking)
Morning:
- Begin a guided trek through lush jungle landscapes, coffee,banana, mango plantations, and small villages.
- Hike along original Inca trails with stunning views of the Urubamba River valley.
- Learn about the Inca history, the region’s flora, fauna, and local traditions from your guide
Afternoon:
- Taste the local lunch in the middle of the jungle prepared by local ingredients
- Continue trekking, crossing hanging bridges and enjoying diverse scenery.

Day 3: Santa Teresa – Hydroelectric – Aguas Calientes (Zip-Lining & Trekking)
Morning:
- Have fun flying in the Zip-lining adventure over the jungle canopy combining adrenaline with stunning views.
- Drive to Hidroelectrica.
Afternoon:
- Enjoy the lunch in Hidroelectrica.
- Hike to Aguas Calientes town for approximately 3 hours along the train tracks, a scenic and serene walk surrounded by lush vegetation and waterfalls.
- Arrive in Aguas Calientes (2,040 m / 6,693 ft), the gateway to Machu Picchu.
Evening:
- Check into your hotel in Aguas Calientes.
- Dinner at a local restaurant, followed by a briefing for the next day’s visit to Machu Picchu.
- Spend the night in the hotel
Day 4: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco (Guided Tour)
Early Morning:
- Take the first bus up to Machu Picchu to witness the sunrise over the ancient citadel (optional 1.5-hour hike instead of the bus).
- Enjoy a 2-hour guided tour of Machu Picchu, exploring its most iconic structures, such as the Sun Gate, Intihuatana, and the Temple of the Sun.
Afternoon:
- Return to Aguas Calientes by bus or on foot.
- Train transfer back to Ollantaytambo following bus drive to Cusco.
- Drop off at your hotel
